nothing much to say but i have so many photographs that i have nothing to do but just store them in the closet in the negative files.
i decided to share them on the blog for now because i am a little free now.
so here we go, nothing special, just everyday photographs.
to start off, this is a photograph from last november, at the tokyo photography museum which closed for reconstruction this september. they are going to open in 2016? i think again.
some friends i met by chance, they went to the same junior, and high schools as i did.
it’s the heels that got my attention.
so many train related photography.
and manami coming out from the gate! think it was some christmas party thing.
manami, asking andrew for advice. about her life.
more of him.
someone tried to take it home.
met up with my former english professor from university.
maki at my parent’s house.
i like the shadow of the wheel here.
nice mood with the condensation?
walking down the massive cross point in shibuya.
i was looking for my friend here…
no, not him.
this ain’t neither.
aww, there you are!
at a bread bakery in ebisu.
she was happy to see me:)
way too dark in here, kaya and suilen, friends from the namida project group. a volunteer group for the aftermath of tohoku disasters from 3.11.
is he still taking photographs? yeah i was!
so the other day in decemeber 2013, sooo early leaving for niigata pref for an assignment at like 5am train, i just happen to saw a friend of mine. the one in the middle here sleeping. i am not sure still, but i think that’s shogo. isn’t it shogo? will be waiting for you message.
riding one of the local trains here.
riding with hiroko. her taking a video on iphone attached with a portable battery charger.
almost like an hdr gadget used photography but pure trix film with a color skopar 28mm.
after all the interviews and photo shoots, we head back for tokyo…3 hour ride? or less.
in between the changing trains thing.
a shot from the shinkansen, the fast bullet train. but the train was waiting at the station.
some day, i wanted to try out something different which lead me to using my color skopar 28mm.
this skopar is crisp sharp but has too much contrast which i didn’t take care of in my developing process.
i was shooting with shin. you can see his photographs at http://www.shinnoguchiphotography.com/ .
and here’ a nice link to shin and my photographs compared. http://www.shinnoguchiphotography.com/blog/archives/1919
here’s shin, at the massive cross point in shibuya.
back to 35mm cron.
risa, friend who works for a photo studio.
left, keiichiro who works at nikon center ginza, and right, shuji who’s a wedding photographer.
shoko, who used to work for yodobashi and who used to take care of my films there, but she has already quit the job and she’s getting married this october! congrats!
different day, the day i went for masaharu fukuyama’s live concert with maki. so this was like the end of last december.
she’s bought a polaroid camera witch she hasn’t been using recently…
it was a day i shot kojiro, for a portrait. http://kentaro-takahashi-photography.tumblr.com/post/73722073219/koujiro-ohtsuka-actor-december-2013-fuji-x100s

maki in kamakura.
and if you speak kamakura, it’s shin noguchi.
negatives from this summer.
a fire break at some building in shinjuku, close to yodobashi.
i bought 30 trix films from b&h, which you can buy much cheaper than at yodobashi.
than it was him, kazunari who went to california for his university studies and just came back a few days before we met. he looked healthy, i think he even lost some weight, wonder why.
what do you do when you meet a friend that you haven’t seen each other for couple of years? FACEBOOK.
what do you do when you are with a friend in front of a photo museum? FACEBOOK!!
9 out of 10, he was on his phone.
